Lemon: doTERRA Lemon essential oil is one of the brand’s most popular essential oils. It has a fresh citrus aroma that is uplifting and energising, and it is often used in cooking to highlight the flavour of desserts, main dishes and drinks.

Grapefruit: The English name "grapefruit" refers to the fruit that grows in clusters, similar to "grapes." Known for its tart, bitter taste, grapefruit is a spherical, orange- and yellow-colored fruit of an evergreen citrus tree. Grapefruit essential oil is extracted from the outer peel of the fruit and is valued for its numerous uses and beneficial properties, as well as its refreshing aroma and characteristic taste.

Bergamot:   Bergamot is one of the most delicate citrus fruits, requiring a special climate and soil composition to thrive. In Greece, the unripe fruit is eaten by the spoon as a dessert or served with coffee. Bergamot is unique among citrus oils because it can be both uplifting and calming. For centuries it has been used to soothe the mood and rejuvenate the facial skin.

Red Mandarin:  Red Mandarin, also known as tangor or Florida orange, has a sweet, citrusy, slightly floral aroma similar to orange. Mandarin peel is used to produce three different essential oils: Green, Yellow, and Red Mandarin. Red Mandarin essential oil is obtained from the peel of the ripest fruit. Like many other citrus oils, it is produced from fruit not used by the fresh-fruit industry. Mandarins that cannot be sold fresh because of bruising or other cosmetic imperfections are typically used for juice and essential oil. Red Mandarin is considered the sweetest of the citrus oils and blends beautifully with many other essential oils.

Green Mandarin: Green Mandarin essential oil, pressed from the unripe fruit of the mandarin tree, is unique among citrus oils in both aroma and uses. Like other citrus oils, it has a sweet, slightly floral scent and is an excellent choice when you want to add a refreshing fresh flavor to a glass of water, salads, or other foods.

Lime: Cold pressed from the peel of fresh limes, doTERRA Lime essential oil has both an aroma and flavour that feel refreshing and energising. Because of its bright citrus taste, Lime is a popular addition to a wide range of appetisers and beverages.

Litsea: Litsea cubeba is an evergreen tree or shrub in the Lauraceae family. Litsea is a lemon-like essential oil obtained from the fruit of the plant. Native to East Asia, it has a long history of traditional use among the indigenous people of Taiwan and later became widespread in Japan, Taiwan, southern China, and Southeast Asia. The geranial and neral it contains are also found in Indian lemongrass, which has very similar aromatic notes and properties.

Tonka Bean: Dipteryx odorata is a beautiful flowering tree in the Fabaceae family, often referred to as “cumaru” or “Brazilian teak.” The species is native to northern South America and its seeds are known as tonka beans. Because of their high coumarin content, the beans have a powerful aroma with a sweet vanilla scent.

Vanilla Absolute: Vanilla planifolia is a species of the Vanilla genus in the orchid family and is found in several regions, including Mexico, Central America, Colombia, and Brazil. This evergreen climbing plant has a high vanillin content, making it a popular source of vanilla flavoring.
