Sourcing

Extensive sustainable sourcing partnerships enable doTERRA to produce exclusive proprietary oils and blends that preserve the purity and potency of each plant.

Cardamom: (Elettaria Cardamomum) In Guatemala, doTERRA cardamom growers can take part in training and receive financial support to establish mutually beneficial sourcing practices. The training prepares farmers to grow higher-quality cardamom in greater quantities, enabling them to earn more income for their crops.

Tea Tree: (Melaleuca alternifolia) The Tea Tree biomass remaining after steam distillation is returned to the soil in both Australia and Kenya to help suppress weed growth and provide the soil with important nutrients. No part of the tree goes to waste during the production of Tea Tree essential oil.
